The biannual review of School Sport NZ Eligibility Criteria will be completed this year with any changes implemented in 2023. Submissions from member schools and NSOs are welcome and the process and timeline for the review is:

• Schools and NSOs notified of review in February 2022.
• Written submissions to School Sport NZ CEO by 14th April 2022. ceo@schoolsportnz.org.nz
• Submissions must be signed by a member school principal or CEO of a National Sporting Organisation (NSO).
• School Sport NZ Board considers submissions in early June 2022 and schools and NSOs notified of proposed changes in mid June 2022.
• Submissions on proposed changes to School Sport NZ CEO by 8th July 2022.
• Board considers submissions on draft changes and confirms final changes in August 2022
• Schools notified of 2023 Eligibility Criteria in August 2022.
