The Gillette Cup is one of NZ’s longest-running competitions in secondary school sport and along with the Gillette Venus Cup, is played at the prestigious Lincoln University cricket facility, the high performance hub of NZ Cricket.
These competitions provide the opportunity for players to compete against some of the best school teams in the country with many first-class cricketers, BLACKCAPS and WHITE FERNS having made their name at these tournaments.
In 2018, Wellington College took out the Gillette Cup and St Hilda’s Collegiate won the Gillette Venus Cup. These teams will be looking to repeat their performances in 2019, as competition at this year’s version of the tournaments is shaping up to be as strong as ever. Check out some of the action from these most recent tournaments.
