With over 20,000 athletes set to take part in winter tournament week, we will all have our fingers crossed that the weather plays its part in ensuring the hard work students, coaches and event organisers have put in can be enjoyed in sunny venues!
We wish all those taking part good luck and know that everyone will wear their school colours with pride, play hard but fair and display the values of school sport. Winning is important, but it is only a part a part of the big picture, with the priority that students enjoy all the benefits that representing their school and playing with friends can offer.
Let’s all be responsible for ‘positive vibes’ on the sideline, to ensure that our Rangatahi have a memorable experience. We encourage you to share the standards we all expect from players, coaches, spectators, whānau, and officials. The School Sport NZ Integrity Framework highlights the values of school sport and provides a code of conduct as a guide, please Click Here
A special mention to all the Directors of Sports, Sports Coordinators, and Teachers in Charge who have coordinated the plans getting to desitnations safely and we appreciate how much administration has been done in the background so thank you for making sport happen in your kura.

Stay safe and have a fantastic week.
