Secondary School Sport Conference – Update The 2022 Secondary Schools Sports Conference is the premier professional development opportunity for school sport personnel in Aotearoa, New Zealand including Sports Directors, Sports Coordinators, Heads of Sport and Senior Management. The conference will build your knowledge and understanding of quality sport opportunities for Rangatahi, particularly those that are less active, through a series of workshops and presentations, keynote speakers, activity sessions, and trade displays from a variety of businesses and organisations that provide services and products to schools. The conference is jointly organised and hosted by Sport New Zealand and School Sport New Zealand and will be held at the Sky Stadium, Wellington. The conference will begin with a Pōwhiri at 9.15am, Thursday 22nd September and conclude with a keynote address at 2pm, Friday 23rd September. The conference programme will be confirmed in the coming weeks and will be available through the School Sport NZ website. School Representative $100 or $200 after the 29th of August 2022. Registrations Open: End of Term 2, 2022 Registrations Close: Friday 9th September, 2022 The conference is generously subsidised by Sport NZ to ensure this opportunity is equitable and accessible for all schools. At a real cost of over $500 per person, this represents outstanding value, and we are thankful to Sport NZ for the value they place on this conference. The registration fee covers, morning and afternoon teas and lunches on both days, the conference dinner and access to plenaries, workshops, and presentations over the two days.
