The New Zealand Community Trust

Was established in 1998 to promote amateur sport in New Zealand. The Trust Deed requires NZCT to distribute 80% of available funds to sporting activities.

The New Zealand Community Trust's main aim is to raise funds to promote amateur sport.

The New Zealand Community Trust has a secondary role to raise funds for other charitable purposes - relief of poverty, the advancement of education as well as other purposes that are beneficial to the community. View more information by visiting their website.​

Sport New Zealand (Sport NZ)

Is the government organisation responsible for sport and recreation (formerly SPARC).

Sport NZ aims are:

• more kids playing and enjoying sport,
• more adults participating and getting involved,
• and - through High Performance Sport New Zealand - more Kiwi winners on the world stage.
